Free Information that is!
Been really busy putting the finishing touches to the next release from Pigeon Guard Games It is called the Info-Mat which is based on the Directo-mat device from the 1960’s. In those days it was the height of technology. You’d often see them at Railway stations, and would basically show you a map of the town you were in, by pressing a series of buttons it would light up areas of the map and show you where you were in relation to the place you wanted to go, and then could print out the directions to your destination on a piece of card. Very handy in those pre G.P.S days!!!
One such device featured in the Prisoner Episode 1. “Arrival”, very handy as our hero did not know where he was at the time….(but he did manage to summon a taxi with it.) and of course, episode 4 “Free For All”
This is an excellent little kit being cleverly constructed from laser cut mdf for a very sturdy frame, then has printed panels of laser cut card, and comes with its own mdf base. (seen here with a converted Big T…now No53….the Rook!). painting is limited to a few edges and the stand. It goes together very rapidly and has a comprehensive instruction guide to help.
A very useful piece of street furniture for any Pulp, Sci fi, or Spy Fi game, as well as of course being a great accessory for all you builders of the Village.
